About Me Professionally
I am a Digital Marketer and Events Coordinator who believes that creating connections through programming and social media is integral to building a strong community. I love engaging and expanding networks by communicating digitally and in-person with community members.
When it comes to developing events, I have become a jack-of-all-trades, and I have found that each aspect of the process relates so heavily to the next. Conceptualizing big ideas, planning out detailed logistics, and designing marketing materials are fundamental to the success of an event, and you cannot have one without the other. My widespread experiences allow me to look at the bigger picture of event coordination while remaining considerate of every piece of the puzzle.

About Me Artistically
As an artist, I like showcasing people’s stories and learning about how they connect with the world around them. My art consists of a mix of bright colors and grey-scaled monochrome, and repetition tends to sneak its way into my works. I have immersed myself into the world of digital art, developing skills in Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom Classic, Audition, Premiere, Animate, After Effects), WordPress, Wix, and Canva. I’ve also recently gotten into charcoal drawing!
Through these tools, I have developed a love of remixing art and understanding the perspective of the audience. As a media and communications major, one of the most important lessons I learned is that every single piece of media has messages encoded into it from the creators and messages decoded by viewers; those messages do not have to be the same and are often not. Being aware of this lesson inspires me to create art that the audience can collaborate with, and I hope to inspire community with my art.
